Classroom Highlights

After learning about our five senses and the food pyramid, we learned all about our magnificent brains!  We learned that our brains are like our command center to control our body’s actions.  We are now studying our muscles and how they allow us to move by pulling on bones.  We praise God for all the amazing movements we can make by using our muscles.

The first and second grades were excited to present chapel last Wednesday. The chapel was based on Romans 12:6 “We all have different gifts, according to the grace given us.”  Through a skit and a parable, the students told the message that although we do not all have the same talents and abilities, we must search for the gifts God has given us.  We must use these gifts to bring joy to others or improve ourselves.  We must remember that God has given us each gifts He believes is best.  We must then use these gifts to do His work.

Thank you, First and Second grade, for using the gifts you have been blessed with to share God’s love to others.
